Youandewan - Cola Beach [Pure Shores Germany]

Having made his name on acclaimed labels like Aus, Youandewan has recently ventured out to do his own thing. And we approve. First came his Small Hours label, and now comes Pure Shores (did someone say All Saints?). The boy based in Scotland via Yorkshire and now in Berlin takes care of the first offering with a stylish sense of house style. 'Cola Beach' is a sugary deep house track with a slightly retro feel, but with plenty of punch. The more forceful 'Dolphin Splash Keyboards' is a brilliantly dynamic groove with psychedelic motifs and neon synth details floating on top, while a superb bassline keeps things moving. Great work.
