Three Chairs Project - Good Kiss [Sound Signature]

Detroit techno collective Three Chairs are one of the most respected outfits in the underground, with heavyweights like Theo Parrish, Kenny Dixon Jr. and Rick Wilhite all part of it. In 1998 they put out this classic EP and it has now been reissued by Theo's Sound Signature label. It still bangs, as you would expect, starting with 'Good Kiss', a slow, dusty, jazzy deep house cut with candle-lit pads. 'Blue Out' has heavier kicks, but still they are worn and rustic, with looped keys on top. Lastly, 'Transit' features loops with more of a disco tint, funky bass riffs and atmospheric vocals, making for a nice home-listening party vibe.
