Macedonian artist Stojche kicks off Mutual Rytm X’s 2025 calendar with his explosive new EP, Stomping Ground.

Stojche is a DJ and producer from Skopje, Macedonia, currently residing in Madrid. He runs his label Tangible Assets and has been making his mark on the electronic underground circuit for over 20 years. His music takes inspiration from classic Detroit sounds and dub techno, and in 2024 he made a big impression with his Metaphor EP on F.U.S.E. Following his excellent contribution to Mutual Rytm’s Federation of Rytm II compilation, he now presents his first EP of the year with his debut on X, SHDW's sister label to Mutual Rytm, with Stomping Ground.

The EP opens with the powerful Stomping Ground, a vibrant blend of precisely programmed kick drums and reverberant percussion lines. The textured percussion shines over the fast-paced rhythms and it's impossible not to draw dancers onto the floor. Oberheim is another high-level, high-impact cut, with muffled melodies floating over relentless kick drums and distorted bass lines that exude mechanical warmth. Consequence keeps the pressure on with marked kick drums and layers of raw percussion softened by diffuse dub chords. The digital bonus track The Vault closes with powerful kick drums and rave stabs that will make the dance floor explode at its peak.
