Roberta is back and not one to take any disobedience, delivering two deeper cuts showcasing her far-reaching jazz, funk, and soul influences. The A-side "Don't Bother Knockin'" kicks off with a sassy yet playful energy. The B-side, "Be My Man", softens things up by adding the necessary feminine touches, once again delivering an EP with her signature sound, full of her penchant for sticky basslines. This follow-up release is a welcome one after her successful debut on James Duncan's Brooklyn-based Innermoods label.
