Rampa, Emanuel Satie, Solomun - 20 Years Cocoon Recordings EP 1

Cocoon Recordings has long been one of the most prominent labels in large-scale techno music. Of course, the Ibiza party it has hosted for much of that time has helped it gain a global audience, but it has always been well deserved. To commemorate the anniversary, Sven's label is releasing a series of special EPs. The first one kicks off with longtime collaborator Rampa, offering a tense yet melodic tech track that undulates beautifully.

Emanuel Satie follows with nimble electronic melodies on 'Departure' and then one of house music's biggest names, Solomun, keeps things simple but effective with his energy-charged synth cut, 'We'll Never Have Today Again.' Finally, Rampa makes great use of melodies and vocal cuts that are sure to stay in your record box for a long time.
