Pete Bandit - Wild Feelings EP [Dirt Crew]

Pete Bandit, originally from the Netherlands, moved to Berlin some years ago, where we first met in 2018 when he was part of the "Times Are Ruff" collective. They contributed a track on Dirt Crew for our "Deep Love 2018" compilation.

The A-side, "Wild Feelings," is a beautiful introduction to this record. With its lush intro, it sets the perfect mood for what's to come—a blend of soul, funk, and electronic elements, and overall, a very well-crafted depth. The keys on this track were contributed by the mysterious "Nelson of the East," crowned with Pete's own vocals. "It's Happening Again" continues the story with soulful deep house textures, and this particular one reminds us a lot of those early 90s Chicago/New York house gems. The track builds towards a big key change at a pivotal moment, and with its atmospheric strings and pads, it's a truly uplifting tune for "Good Times."

On the B-side, we have "Computer's Creativity." This track picks up the pace and focuses on a funky, almost hand-clapping bassline. Again, a vocal from Pete is added over "Computer's Creativity," and with its cool breakdown, it's sure to be a dancefloor hit. The last track on this record is the energetic "Luv Your Body." Great percussion guides us through a loose set arrangement and makes it a perfect track for late-night or early-morning hours in any mix—it could go on forever!
