Zongamin & Mytron reconvene on Multi Culti with an album of collaborations. Exploring the outer reaches of alternative nationhood, these two stalwarts of our global family present a colorful array of psychedelic disco & interdimensional dub. Tribal motifs blend with field recordings, as synthesized animals make themselves heard among exotic hand-played percussion. Vintage synth jams meet 8-bit samples processed through spring reverbs & 80s digital delays. Started in the midst of the pandemic, this collaboration ignored the surrounding chaos & social distancing, focusing instead on Good Vibes™ & positivity, with an approach that defies genres & transcends continental origins. The result is a playful symbiosis fatter than the sum of its parts.

Mytron is Jacek Janiszewski, a multi-instrumentalist, producer & pan-European DJ, born in Poland, raised in Holland & Germany, and based in London for nearly a decade. His releases on labels such as XXX, Codek, Bordello A Parigi, Multi Culti, Nein & Les Yeux Orange reflect an equally nomadic spirit.

Zongamin, Susumu Mukai, is a London-based composer, producer & illustrator. He has released records on Multi Culti, Flesh Records, XL Recordings, Ed Banger, ESP Institute & AD93, and has remixed Air, John Cale, Trevor Jackson, Sandro Perri & others. He is a member of the groups Vanishing Twin, V/Z, Holy Tongue & Stalactite.
