After collaborating on Mr Oizo's All Wet album, Mr Oizo and his Italian colleague Phra returned to the studio.

Six years later, this time as an unexpected duo, they wrote and composed a 9-track mini-album titled "Italian Hip Hop," which also evokes the spirit of mixtapes like those made by Madlib.

Mr Oizo, aka Quentin Dupieux, one of the most restless and stimulating French music producers and film directors, presents a new musical direction here. Predominantly mid-tempo, it moves away from the classic power associated with French Touch 2.0.
