Milton Jackson - Sunset In A Frame [Housewax]

HOUSEWAX welcomes Barry Christie, also known as Milton Jackson, to the family.

He released his first EP at 19 years old on Solemusic's Tronicsole label. He is known for his dark deep house, with almost techno influences. Milton Jackson often fuses energetic rhythms with eclectic and technological production styles. His debut album, The Bionic Boy, was well received by critics and the house community, with the Pepe Bradock-influenced track Sunlight being a highlight.

Having primarily released on Glasgow labels such as Solemusic and Glasgow Underground, in 2006 he expanded his reach with EPs on Freerange, Silver Network, Urbantorque, and Luke Sardello's Icon Recordings.

He has also recorded under various pseudonyms, even exploring down-tempo as Napoleon Solo. His label Bear Trax released Mylo's first vinyl when they both produced under the name The Pretty Boys.
