Unquestionably one of Get Physical’s most influential tracks, O Superman sees a new release with remixes from Man Power and SIS, alongside Robag Wruhme’s 2008 version and a remaster of the now classic original.

Man Power kicks off the new interpretations with an epic ten-and-a-half-minute take, patiently stretching out the original’s melodies into sustained pads and bass tones over crisp micro-house-esque beats, before unleashing loose, clattering breakbeats after a striking, prolonged break.

SIS’s dreamlike, percussive version showcases the German producer in hypnotic, rhythmic form, focusing on the push and pull of the original’s melodic vocoder and synth work, which glide over his perfectly crafted groove.

Robag’s Pumper-Nikkel remix, for those who missed it some years ago, is another funky, cut and chopped piece from the playful producer, and still sounds as fresh as ever.
