Highly significant within old-school house releases, the network of influences behind Masters At Work’s ‘The Masters At Work (Keep It Comin’ Now)’ is difficult to trace. In 1991, Louie Vega and Marc Anthony remixed Keith Sweat's new jack swing titan ‘Keep It Comin’', a timeless B-side that complemented Sweat's original Elektra Records release. The track snowballed, becoming a B-side with its own identity, accompanying the classic garage house track ‘Ride On The Rhythm’ on Atlantic Records. Now, once again promoted to A-side, we hear three new and exclusive mixes of the original dub, plus two variations: in One Take Tito's version, Latin-tinged rhythmic fills and programmable melodies meander in the background, while Kenlou and Eddie Mood bring a double yogic and myofibrillar relaxation to an already restrained sound.
