NYC’s iconic Nervous label welcomes the innovative Swiss-Chilean Luciano as well as Sano and FNX Omar to remix a hot new single from Lou Gorbea & Jose Burgos with Nina Hernandez.

Lou Gorbea is widely known as the DJ’s DJ, a veteran selector with plenty of skill and plenty of releases on major labels as well as his own Omi Tutu production company. Here he links with longstanding house music champion and veteran Jose Burgos, an associate of Defected and 4 To The Floor with a rich sound all his own.

Their original track ‘Madre’ feat. Nina Hernandez is a summery track with a perfectly Latin flair, with trumpets, Spanish vocals, and plenty of salsa in the infectious rhythms. It is ideal for bringing joy and soul to any party. The alternate version is more energetic and up-tempo with piano chords and driving drum beats that make it more suited to the dance floor but it is still just as musically brilliant.

Cadenza boss Luciano has long been imbuing his minimal techno style and for that reason is one of the most prominent names in the game. His first remix is peppered with claps, clicks, drums, and triangles that are all perfectly entwined with a bold bassline. His Percussion Dub is more direct, with quicker rhythms and tighter percussion that will get right inside your mind, body, and soul.

FNX Omar is one of the mainstays of the house music movement in Morocco. He brings plenty of African soul to his remix, with loose drums and shakers that get you moving while the vocal echoes with real gravitas up top. Sano is last up and the Medellín, Colombia-born producer now based in Barcelona has been a pivotal part of the Cómeme family since 2012. His remix is perfectly tropical, with subtle steel drums and exotic vocals that add sensuality and colour.
