Live Trax Vol. 1 is the first installment in a new series of releases born from live sets performed entirely on hardware and recorded directly to 1/4” tape.

This is raw, straightforward deep house, tested on carefully curated dancefloors such as Heideglühen, Block 9, Sunset Sound System, and Love International.

Two years ago, a good friend —one of those in the know— suggested I do a live set. I found the idea interesting, so I started developing a full format with new and old music, organizing my hardware in a way that would allow me to make it work.

Reduced to the essentials, my live setup consists of four main pieces: Sequentix Cirklon, Roland MC-707, Roland TR-8S, and 1010 Music Blackbox.

This process led me to make music in a different way, reconnecting with the 90s, when I started: all hardware, minimal equipment, and direct recordings to a Studer A80 tape machine.

These tracks are the first fruits of that process.

For those who don't know me: in addition to my own music, I work as a producer, mixing engineer, and arranger on various projects for Honey Dijon, Luke Solomon, Gideön, Horse Meat Disco, Defected Records, and many more.

I have also performed at some of the best clubs and festivals, including Genosys, NYC Downlow, Heideglühen, Adonis in London, and Panorama Bar.

My house and techno style has always been oriented towards the underground, with raw, deep, and powerful sounds as key elements of the mix.
