Emerging from the confluence of rave culture and artistic mastery, La Pointe makes an impressive debut on Damian Lazarus’ Secret Teachings label with the enigmatic Umbra. The release, slated for January 24th, comes with top-tier remixes from acclaimed producer Nathan Fake and the ever-versatile Jonny Rock, offering a sonic journey that transcends the ordinary.

La Pointe, a trio comprising Geneva techno pioneers Crowdpleaser and Entlet alongside NYC’s Jonny Sender, represents a fusion of cultural and musical legacies. Rooted in Geneva’s vibrant after-hours scenes and New York’s underground club culture, the trio crafts music that is both innovative and steeped in tradition. Their studio, located in a former factory at the confluence of the Rhône and Arve rivers, inspires the industrial essence and name of their project.

Jonny Sender, a key figure in New York’s downtown music revolution of the 80s, brought his unique perspective, honed in iconic venues like Paradise Garage and Club Negril, to the trio upon his move to France.
