Harry Romero - Nice To Meet You [Rekids]

House legend Harry Romero joins Rekids for the first time with the Nice To Meet You EP, featuring two impactful tracks with classic NYC house DNA, combined with the modern twist that has characterized Romero over more than two decades in the business. The Bambossa Records founder lands on Radio Slave's main imprint after a stellar 2024, during which he released music through Faith, Nu-Groove, and Defected.

Following his appearance on the Rekids podcast series in August, house hero Harry Romero kicks off the label's 2025 with the Nice To Meet You EP. The title track opens with a singular, hypnotic cut, featuring a bold kazoo melody and a raw, dancefloor-ready bassline, shining through both breakdowns and high-impact drops. It is followed by Danny's Groove, a track loaded with Romero's signature energy, built on an organic drum shuffle, a melodic whistle line in the background, and abundant synth stabs. Nice To Meet You is a masterclass in building and releasing energy on the dancefloor.

Radio Slave's Rekids label was founded in 2006 and has since spawned successful sub-divisions, including the techno-focused Rekids Special Projects in 2017, and its most recent sublabel, REK'D, in 2024. With Matt Edwards as the sole A&R, Rekids has been instrumental in the development of emerging artists and has become a haven for established names in house and related genres, recently featuring artists such as Hilit Kolet, William Kiss, Bushwacka, Mathias Kaden, Katerina, Sean Johnston, and many more.
