Dynamic Forces are truly on display on this hard-hitting new release from Arts. There's a real sense of control in the opening track "Lyra," despite its forward momentum and hard-hitting beats, while "Vaulting" goes much wilder and looser with its frenetic synth line and a raw avalanche of percussive pressure. Changing things up once again, "Parallel" is a dub techno tool, and "Shimmer" returns to a careful adjustment of a subtle lead synth over incendiary rhythms. "Radiant" and "Meraki" bring more techno fun for the peak of the night, with a more vibrant and energetic touch. This is a very useful and varied 12".
