The mighty Cobblestone Jazz have returned. Has it really been eight years since we were last blessed by the elevated musicianship and wonder of Mathew Jonson’s joint outfit with Danuel Tate and Tyger Dhula? Time flies and it feels like we’re in familiar territory even as the Jazz take us to wonderful places on this collaborative EP with The Mole, another erstwhile Wagon Repair alumni. Keys sound even more expressive and exquisite, whilst Jonson’s unmistakable touch on the programming is as inspirational as ever.
