1999… after the global supremacy of Oasis and Blur, the world is looking for musical freshness. Some artists like Daft Punk and Air have already contributed to popularizing worldwide what the English called "French Touch", a new term referring to a large French musical movement.

Cassius' first album is one of the key pieces of this growing genre, and demonstrates once again the variety of the trend. Indeed, after having long cooperated with MC Solaar, one of the best French rappers of the 90s, the hip-hop influence of both members of Cassius had to have an impact on their personal concept, and managed to seduce many listeners hungry for new musical flavors: more than 250,000 units sold worldwide and numerous unconditional fans…
