Arkan - Lightworker Part 2 [Figure]

Fresh off the back of his debut release on Figure, French producer Arkan further delves into his explorations of a unique sound with Part 2 of his *Lightworker* EP. 

His trademark blend of mental techno expands, with the opening track *Broken Clock* mysteriously swaying and rumbling like a hypnotic pendulum over an abrasive groove. *Pulsing* gains traction and pushes the momentum forward, whilst allowing jagged textures and cavernous effects to paint a largely menacing soundscape. 

The B-side fills with more colours, with the linear *Plaintive* working its magic via a dense and emotive synth-ensemble, slowly creating a positive yet condensed energy. 

*Dark Clouds* also builds a strong atmosphere, using sparks of panning synths and lights to evoke the ominous feeling of a rising storm. Finally, the digital-only track *Speedway* comes in as a hard-hitting bonus, offering a taste of how Arkan is also capable of delivering funky and jacking techno tools.
