8Kays - Falling Down EP [Watergate]

8Kays delivers an inspiring debut on the Watergate Records imprint, consolidating Ukrainian sound producer and live act Iryna Shvydka’s artistic project, and reaffirming the excitement she generates with her elegant EP “Falling Down.”

This collaborative EP features 8Kays alongside Italian duo Glowal on the energetic “Matemática,” which brings haunting, minor-key vibes to the dancefloor thanks to the vocal contribution of Brazilian singer Abrão. “Falling Down” sees 8Kays collaborate with Buenos Aires-based producer and live act Juan Hansen, to deliver a captivating slice of electronic prog lit up by Hansen’s memorable vocal and delicate strings. Dutch pair Colyn & Beswerda dress “Falling Down” for a different occasion, adding more robust structure whilst highlighting all of the melodic flourishes to create a functional and striking remix in equal measure.
