**Years Of Denial** return to *Veyl* with their sophomore LP, *'Suicide Disco Vol. 2'*. Following up on 2019's *'Suicide Disco'*, the duo makes a triumphant return, elevating their distinctive sound that blends dark wave, goth, new-beat, post-punk, EBM, and techno. The LP includes 12 tracks, all written and produced in the *Ark of Noise* studio, located away from the polluting noise of social unrest, immersed in isolation, creative indulgence, and poetic writing.

From the outset, *Art Break* offers the perfect warm-up, gently cleansing the palate and reintroducing us to Barkosina's sensual vocals with a leisurely pace that only marks the beginning. *Wrong* picks up the tempo, injecting a dose of body music for an infectious piece that flows into *La Pendue*, maintaining the rising energy. Next, *Mr. Guillotine* brings a sharp edge, sculpting a new post-punk sensation that leads us to the dark *Never Satisfied*.

*Lover's Crime* marks the midpoint of the record and is one of the album's highlights. Undeniably alluring and with an ominous air, the pair maintains this mood with *City Lights* before breaking everything with *Dancing With Demons*. After the perverse message of *The Letter*, we dive into the romantic melancholy of *Death Of A Lover* and *Regarding the Pain of Others* before closing with *Social Anxiety*, which features vocals from long-time collaborator *Broken English Club*.

The result is an immersive journey through the sound of *Suicide Disco*, as they themselves describe it, further solidifying the form and legacy of *Years Of Denial*.
