Written and produced in a country house surrounded only by vast empty landscapes and an infinite sky, “Suicide Disco” is the result of a three-year collaboration and Years of Denial's debut album for Veyl.

Driven to escape saturated cities and information overload, the duo honed their sound and workflow through isolation and introspection, crafting 11 tracks brimming with massive melodic hooks, New Wave nostalgia, and razor-sharp detailed production.

Barkosina's vocals resonate and oscillate against Jérôme's snares, at once deep and wounded. Her expressionist narrative leads us to unknown yet strangely familiar places, amplified by dub delays and otherworldly reverbs. Each track tells a story based on the intensity of relationships, a poignant and distorted invitation to intimacy and complicity.
