The second installment of our ‘Back To The Old School’ series arrives with full force.

Once again, Mr. “Love” Lee updates classic disco-rap cuts for today’s dancefloors, while keeping their original essence and character intact.

Opening the release is the Jamaican version of ‘Rappers Delight’ performed by Xanadu & Sweet Lady, where Dave refreshes the already unmistakable percussive base, transforming it into a captivating jazz-funk exercise that perfectly matches Sweet Lady’s silky flow and, somehow, makes it even more danceable than before.

Next up is Solo Sound’s ‘We Are The Crew (Called Solo Sound)’, a dense, raw, swampy cosmic funk piece, ready to ignite any block party.

On the B-side, we find an alternative, Philadelphia-flavored version of TJ Swann’s 1981 classic ‘Get Fly’. This time, Dave Lee reconstructs the MFSB base and fully unleashes his remixing talent, hitting just the right spot for the dancefloor.
