Wallace - Tanzanite EP [On Loop]

It’s fair to say that Wallace is one of those rare producers that has already amassed a rather respectable back catalogue in a very short amount of time. In 2023 alone he has already released two albums and a handful of EPs with labels such as Rhythm Section, Mule Musiq and CWPT, quickly becoming a go-to producer for many DJs. To some it might seem like he’s at the start of his career but Wallace has been producing for well over 10 years, refining his sound.

The EP is full of percussion and rhythm, drawing the listener in. ‘Tanzanite’ and ‘M’bira’ in particular are irresistible to dance to. On the flip side, ‘Red Velvet’ is something you might expect to hear at 5am in Fabric’s room 1, whilst ‘Violet’ is a vinyl only treat and shows how versatile Wallace is as a producer, offering something at a slower tempo.
