Phonica AM welcomes long-time store friend Voigtmann, who appears under his A Thousand Futures alias with a release that perfectly fits the label's identity. Known for his technical precision and playful approach to groove, he delivers a subtle 12” full of character and designed for repeated listens and long club nights.

Across four tracks, Voigtmann moves naturally between futuristic and elegant dancefloor atmospheres: from the ghostly, cosmic drive of ‘Leftfoot Lover’ and the acidic energy of ‘Outer Edge’, to the electro-funk and jackin’ tension of ‘No Room For Squares’. The record closes with ‘Sunshine Capital’, a warm, deep chord-driven cut that retains his characteristic sonic grit, offering a more introspective moment without losing focus.

Curated by Phonica’s Luther Vine, the AM series explores the weirder, more nocturnal corners of the dancefloor, and this release perfectly embodies that philosophy. Subtly touching on territories between progressive house, tech house and minimal with electro inclinations, the record avoids strict genre pigeonholing and prioritizes feeling above all else: psychedelic, functional, and made for DJs.
