Version is the collaborative project of Charles Webster, Martin “Atjazz” Iveson and the extraordinary Emilie Chick, who delivered a sublime deep house experience with this 2008 release. Now it returns after being rediscovered in a storage unit.

Melancholic, emotional, and with a rich sonic texture, the EP highlights Chick's impressive vocals through multiple interpretations: from the combination of deep electronics, soulful congas, and Charles and Atjazz's sine wave basses, to the ambient and introspective Reprise Mix.

The EP concludes with an extraordinary dub by Jimpster, fusing elegant and resonant piano with a powerful, acid-inspired bassline. A favorite at the time for Âme, Dixon, and Jazzanova.
