Next up in Toolroom’s 4-track vinyl sampler series, we have a delicious collaboration from label founder Mark Knight, who links up with rapidly rising talent Crusy for a firm collaboration called ‘Daddy Shhh’. A hard-hitting, energy-fuelled club cut, focusing on Toolroom founder’s Tribal Tech House forte, ‘Daddy Shhh’ is a record made specifically for the dance floor. Blending high-energy rhythms, Latin percussion, and a rolled-out tech bassline that’ll keep you moving long into the early hours.

Next up, we welcome UK selector & producer Huxley, who drops his brand-new single, ‘All I Need’. An artist who is not bound by conventional genres, Huxley’s sound shifts and merges into whatever suits the record, and that is certainly true when listening to ‘All I Need’. With a lush Deep House synth vibe & an infectious vocal melting into the mix before dropping into the UK classic House style stinging basses, it means only one thing, an absolute banger!

Next up, another heater from Liverpool DJ & producer ESSEL, who returns to the label with ‘Lennon’. An artist skilled in the art of crafting hits; ESSEL has been a big part of the Toolroom family over the past few years. With a darker approach than her typical sound, ‘Lennon’ is a record that skirts the boundaries of her style, leaning into the club realm and we have to say it is absolutely exceptional. If there ever was a glass ceiling, ESSEL is sure to smash straight through it, she is certainly an exciting prospect and without a doubt someone to keep a very close eye on.

Last but by no means least, we see the return of the mighty DJ & production duo Leftwing : Kody, who team up with rapidly rising producer James Hurr on their first collaboration ‘Music Is the Medication’. Also featured is reggae vocalist I Jah, who brings a touch of Ragga flavour to the record. ‘Music Is The Medication’ is a sublime record, blending a tough Tech House vibe with UKG style breaks and a straight to the point Ragga vocal layered on top for maximum delivery, meaning only one thing, a certified banger!
