The next instalment of Toolroom’s 4-track vinyl sampler series kicks off with a bang (and a banger!). CHANEY returns to the label with arguably his best release to date, ‘I Choose You’. On Toolroom he’s racked up 40M+ streams across major platforms in just 3 years and added major labels like Defected, Insomniac, and Perfect Havoc to his hit list. Everything on this record is 100% original, written by CHANEY himself, from the self-played bassline, smooth rhodes chords, and distinctively soulful vocals.

Following up is Gene Farris, a regular on Toolroom over the past few years and a recurring artist at the label's events worldwide. ‘In My Heart’ arrives as an exciting collaboration with Basura Boyz, a duo also originating from Gene’s hometown of Chicago. The chemistry between the three is clear from the first beat! This is a fresh, minimalistic vocal tech house track that fits perfectly into both clubs and specialist radio.

Over on the B-side, we have Deeper Purpose who returns to Toolroom alongside Jalja and Lazy Joe, following the success of his potent record ‘Stutter’ released last year. Over the last 12 months, he has taken over the scene's top labels, such as Fisher’s Catch & Release, Experts Only, and Repopulate Mars. This track is a potential anthem, with Jalja on vocals, the same singer who rose to fame with the hit ‘Hanging Tree’ alongside Michael Bibi. Jalja brings her characteristic ethereal touch and a killer hook, creating a true earworm.

Closing out Sampler 14 is an exciting collaboration between two of the brightest rising stars in the scene: Tony Romera and Crusy. Both avid fans of Toolroom for years, they crafted this track from a conversation about the label's classics and how they wanted to emulate that progressive tech house style but adapt it for the present. And they've succeeded! This track delivers a peak-time moment on the dancefloor, with impressive production and an intense build-up that's already causing a stir. Pure energy!
