Seth Troxler’s Slacker 85 imprint is set to expand its roster of misfits and inspired outsiders, with two new singles shining a light on the talent of the characteristically esoteric producers orbiting Troxler’s ever-expanding circles.

Ecuadorian-American sound engineer and musician Andre Salmon has already made his mark on the global underground dance music scene, developing the current incarnation of Inner City alongside Kevin Saunderson, as well as collaborating with house legends Paul Johnson and K’Alexi Shelby. Having solidified his effective Heartless mashup of Saint Etienne’s classic Only Love Can Break Your Heart, Slacker now welcomes Salmon to unfurl his studio technique and “sacred resonance” depth. The result is La Mano de Dios, a voluminous dance on the boundary between house and techno, as elegant and impressive as jets descending over the DC10 terrace.
