Scruinversal returns with another vinyl installment, and this time it's a reissue of some of the label boss's favorite tracks. An unknown artist is behind the sunny rhythm and big trombones of "This Kind Of Latin Rhythm," while Thierry Tomas's "Samba" is a house track with a languid groove and glorious piano work. Funkyjaws brings his tango version, Scruscru layers beats and percussion in "Juicy Brass," and Frank Virgilio's "Portrait Of You" closes with a deeper vibe for the night. These are superbly effective Latin house jams, ideal for hotter days and nicer nights.
