Slow-building progressive house with afro tints from Raffa Guido, Victor Alc, Moeaike, and Crisologo in collaboration for MoBlack's latest V/A EP. Combining the slickest grooves with the crispest recordings, each artist does an excellent job of merging classic and contemporary sounds; Sudamerica on the A-side is the fandango of choice, bright, dewy, and with a hint of aloe, yet maintaining its pheromonal essence, with its undulating guitars and sensual vocals evoking a carefree breeze, under palm trees and shade. Candela, on the other hand, on the B2 side, is our favorite, with homegrown yet polished vocals that bring a narrative to a subtly sensual track.
