Disco Mind draws on a rich vein of Italy's freshest electronic talent for this glorious new EP, designed for retro-futuristic dance floors. Opening the release is Lance, from Naples, who channels the rawness of proto-house and the brilliant melodies of Italo disco into “Renato Superstar,” a tribute to an 80s cult film. Then comes Club Mediterraneo with “Prima Cala,” offering a Balearic glow ideal for sunset sessions. Sparkling Attitude makes a great first impression with “Au Revoir Bonsoir,” which delves into the silky grooves of deep house with a touch of filtered madness. Finally, Leslie Lello and Luksek team up on “Caravan,” a sweet and sugary nu-disco closer, with charming analog drums and a carefree attitude.
