The first two years in the history of Marc Romboy's label Systematic Recordings have been truly outstanding. A new musical wave was about to begin: electronic tracks became groovier, slower, more minimalistic, and with a clear 80s influence.

This double 12” is the first compilation that brings together eight of the most influential tracks from the label's early days, previously unreleased on vinyl and now remastered.

It includes, for example, the best-selling record in the label's history, Future Love by Abysm, as well as Marc's first deep collaboration with house legend and Detroit key figure, Blake Baxter. Of course, several groundbreaking tracks by Stephan Bodzin, both solo and in collaboration with Marc Romboy, are also featured.
