The third and final volume of Classic's 30th Anniversary vinyl series brings the celebration full circle, combining deep cuts from their back catalogue, future-facing house, and tracks from the label's close family of collaborators.

Like the preceding volumes, this 2x12” release comes in an uncoated, exposed-board outer sleeve, a nod to the aesthetic of early Classic releases. Inside, GMUND paper inner sleeves in yellow and red, with embossed detailing, reflect the label's historical commitment to design, craft, and collectibility.

The first record kicks off with a true Classic family affair. Home & Garden’s ‘Sexuality…He’s 2 Young’ features the unmistakable vocals of DJ Colette, a pivotal figure in the label’s early days. Included here is JT Donaldson’s Porno Beat Down Remix, a stripped-back, low-slung rework, with an irresistibly funky bassline and pure dancefloor chemistry.

Next up, Brett Johnson’s ‘Jiffy Pop’, taken from his legendary Bounce! EP, unfurls a jacking, swaggering groove that perfectly embodies his playful, funk-laden style. Infectious, weird, and utterly unforgettable.

Over on the B-side, Tiefschwarz’s ‘Acid Soul’ delivers a dense, powerful track. Originally released during their prolific run on Classic in the early 2000s, it merges baritone sax stabs, a Berlin-born bassline, and a sensual vocal into a deeply soulful house cut.

Roy Davis Jr. rounds out the B-side with the energetic ‘About Love’ (Solid Groove Remix), a hard-hitting, percussive rendition from Dave Taylor that has long been a DJ favourite within the Classic archives.

The second record showcases Classic’s more recent sonic evolutions. JT Donaldson’s return to the label in 2019 arrived with ‘Stay Inside’, a rich, airy groove featuring the soulful vocals of Liv.e. It's a classy, subtle piece of modern house with timeless appeal.

Following this is Detroit Swindle’s funk-laden ‘Hey Mister’. A direct, hard-hitting track, driven by bass and built around a 70s reggae-disco vocal sample. Raw and infectious, it has ignited dancefloors worldwide since its release.

Luke Solomon’s Classic catalogue is extensive, but ‘Come on Over’, his collaboration with Amp Fiddler, earns its spot here. First released on vinyl, this cut oozes musicality. Amp’s passionate vocals, time-stretching breakdowns, and deep funk grooves deliver pure emotional impact.

And to close, a modern masterpiece: Honey Dijon’s ‘Work’ (Extended Mix), taken from her Black Girl Magic LP. Featuring Dave Giles II, Cor.Ece, and Mike Dunn, this hard-hitting track brings together intense vocal performances, live instrumentation, and top-tier production. It encapsulates everything Classic stands for: collaboration and innovation on the dancefloor.
