To celebrate three decades of Classic, this special double vinyl edition comes in a raw cardboard sleeve with reverse printing, evoking the label's first 'Season's' series release. The inner sleeves use spectacular GMUND cardboard in orange and pink tones, with embossed details: a tactile nod to Classic's legacy, always marked by design and attention to detail.

Volume 1 of this three-part compilation series delves into Classic's most cherished moments, encompassing both the foundational tracks from the label's early years and key milestones from its revival after 2011.

Disc One celebrates some of the earliest releases from the original Classic era.
It opens with Matthew Herbert's coveted 1996 cut, 'Got To Be Movin', a raw, Chicago house-inspired groove that perfectly captures the sound of Classic's roots.

Also included is the monumental 'Somewhere Between Distance and the Impossible' by Chris Nazuka (a member of Rednail Kidz alongside Derrick Carter), a masterful 1997 work laden with atmosphere and widely regarded as one of the label's most momentous releases.

On Side B appears Blaze's legendary 'Lovelee Dae', remixed by Jon Marsh of The Beloved into an ethereal, club-ready landscape.

To close, we find Gemini's hypnotic 'In My Head', transformed by prolific Classic remixers Freaks (Luke Solomon and Justin Harris) into a character-filled vocal dub journey.

Disc Two picks up the story with Classic's resurgence in 2011.
Seven Davis Jr's 'The One' (Live Edit) was the track that caught Luke Solomon's attention, paving the way for his Friends EP and a lasting relationship with the label.

Red Rack’em's infectious and eccentric 'Wonky Bassline Disco Banger' found its perfect home at Classic in 2016, quickly becoming one of the most talked-about records of the year.

This is followed by Eli Escobar's 'Happiness Pt. 2', a rich and emotional piece taken from his album work for Classic, demonstrating his ability to fuse deep grooves with raw soul.

Closing the release is the iconic 'Play the Game' by Kenny Hawkes and Louise Carver. A pillar of British house history, this essential track was reissued in 2019 with a powerful remix by The Space Children (Luke Solomon, Jonny Rock and Leon Oakey), in homage to Kenny's enduring influence.
