The discreet "Ron Hardy" series returns with an essential new installment (the 59th overall), once again offering refined re-edits by the late Chicago house pioneer and legendary Music Box resident DJ, Ron Hardy.

On side A, we find "Downtown," Hardy's extended and retouched version of a New York disco curiosity produced by Patrick Adams and Greg Carmichael, which would later be championed by Theo Parrish. On side B, "Discoco" offers a tactile and unhurried dose of pure disco-soul, while "Set The Fire" shows the legendary DJ reorganizing and adjusting a powerful piece of disco-funk laden with string arrangements, originating —we believe— from the dawn of the eighties.
