We’re not sure who is behind the clearly nostalgic Rave-R project, though considering they deliver remakes and reinterpretations of rave-era classics, we suspect the hands of genuine scene veterans from the late-80s and early-90s are behind it.

On this occasion, our glow-stick armed heroes deliver their own take on Robin S’s ‘Show Me Love’, the organ-laden, hands-in-the-air house anthem, replacing the original beats and bassline with skittish breakbeats and a mutant sub-bassline that edges close to wobble-step.

Over on the flip, "Break A Dawn" seems to bring together elements from several recognizable acid house/rave era favorites, resulting in a delightfully mind-altering piece, full of house-tempo hardcore breaks, spine-tingling piano riffs, supremely dreamy synth chords, and numerous vocal snippets originally heard on a classic Salsoul Records platter.
