"My Soul" sets the tone with a minimalist, nocturnal groove, building around those Freddie Hubbard strings and a catchy saxophone riff. The sonic palette is familiar, but skillfully and originally assembled, ensuring this track stands out from the crowd.
"Tears" continues with an equally forceful and refined rhythm, leaving space for shimmering melodies and spoken word samples to shine.
On the flip side, we find "Lost In The Dance" and "What Galaxy Is This?", which maintain the line with precisely selected vocal samples, swinging drums, and enveloping bass lines.
