The upcoming Planet Rhythm release comes straight from the label's own mouth: it is not credited to any particular artist, but to a mysterious project composed of the PR team itself. “Hirameki” takes its name from the Japanese phenomenon of cartoons made from paint splatters, although the mood of the record has little to do with that seemingly innocent domestic exercise.

If any parallel can be drawn with that artistic practice, “Hirameki” and “Acid Hirameki” transform solid rhythm machine foundations into true sonic war orcs, while “Catharsis” and “Chernobyl” lean just a little more towards the melodic. Planet Rhythm hits the mark once again.
