Those with a good memory will probably recall Joss Moog's Cobra Edits series, which released ten EPs of discreet, almost secret reworks between 2017 and 2021. Now, a selection of tracks from the series is returning to stores in limited "Japanese Editions," accompanied by refreshed cover art.

The latest to receive this treatment is the sixth installment from 2018. There's plenty here to get your pulse racing: from the tribal rhythms of "Los," the spoken word charged with organic and enveloping afro house energy in "Pow," and the deep groove between jazz-funk and house with breaks in "Run," to the house constructed with fragmented samples in "Got" and the seductive, carefree, Gainsbourg-esque vibe of "Serge."
