SPLASH RECORDINGS UNLEASH 4 UNRELEASED GEMS ON A BEAUTIFUL PICTURE DISC!

The recent popularity of Undercover Agent's compilation released via Suburban Base proved that there is a big demand amongst jungle connoisseurs for the innovative music of the Juice Records and Splash Recordings labels.

To celebrate this legacy, a special limited edition picture disc has been pressed that brings together 4 representative tracks from the label's historic discography, including some highly anticipated unreleased exclusives.

In 1994, Splash Recordings released their debut single Barracuda b/w Rougher Pt 3. The A-side of this picture disc features newly remixed and remastered versions of those two pioneering tracks.

Rougher gets a 2022 update by X Nation, who maintains the spirit of the original while bringing a fresh twist to this classic. The second track, Barracuda, gets a full and powerful remaster from the original studio DAT tape recording.

The B-side includes two unreleased versions of SPLASH005, one of the label's most sought-after singles, which are finally seeing the light of day. This unpublished version of Liquidizer has remained archived for 27 years, originally recorded for DAZ and the DJs supporting the label to test on acetate dubplates at the time.

The Identity (DAZ VIP Version) was also created exclusively for the artist to play in his sets, without having had an official release until now.

The picture disc art is inspired by the original label design, simulating an enlarged and detailed version of one of its center labels, pressed directly onto the vinyl. A perfect addition to any jungle collection: it will look spectacular framed on the wall or spinning on your 1210s!
