This explosive four-track EP by Track & Trace (evidently a fan of the UK government's pandemic tracing policy, though perhaps ironically) makes an immediate impression with its swinging arpeggios, carefree garage structures, and a dreamy atmosphere. "Intersection" sounds like something between Wen and Herbalizer, choosing a much sweeter palette than most garage artists typically dare to use, for fear that their sound might lose its "darkness."

Speed garage and house take up much of the rest of the 12", with tracks like "Celebrated Failure" blending 4x4 intensity with summery, lush chords, as well as dizzying phase effects.
