Tosca's downtempo legacy continues. Originally released in 2005, J.A.C. is the Austrian duo's fourth studio album, a record dedicated to their then-newborn sons: “Joshua, Arthur, Conrad.” For its 20th anniversary, which also coincides with !K7's 40th anniversary, it has been fully remastered and compiled on a beautiful 2LP with a gatefold cover.

Between the release of their classic Dehli 9 and J.A.C., they both entered parenthood. As all Tosca albums are related to biographical events in Huber and Dorfmeister's lives, the birth of their sons naturally warranted an album dedication. J.A.C. is perhaps the most coherent formulation of both: Tosca's carefree and melancholic sound.

The melodies speed up, the grooves are funky and relaxed, and the variety of musical styles is characterized by a wide range. Furthermore, from 2003 onwards, Tosca became a full band, debuting live alongside artists such as Earl Zinger, MC Farda P (Rockers Hi-Fi), and Graf Hadik.

It is this new live experience and the growing interest in the sound of real, digitally unaltered instruments that most strongly defines the character of this iconic Tosca album, in addition to the duo's characteristic mood.
