Terje Olsen doesn’t drop many records, but when he does they tend to be rather special. This surprise EP for Running Back is only his fifth original single in seven years, but it’s arguably his best yet. "Ragysh" is fiendishly simple, a hypnotic, sticky house/disco electronic track that builds towards a fascinating climax of chic, intergalactic melodies. It’s accompanied by "Bonysh", a dub beat track that extracts maximum emotion with little more than constantly shifting percussion. On the B-side, "Snooze For Love"—available in both dancefloor and downtempo versions—continues the stargazing theme, offering a super-Balearic blend of flickering melodies, dreamy chords, and sleepwalking percussion.
