Hailing from Oxford, UK, Timmy P has cemented himself as a key figure in the house scene over the past decade, with releases on labels such as Local Talk, Strictly Rhythm, What NxT, Nervous and of course Cécille, where he returns following 2022’s Words Fail, Music Speak EP.

The title track, ‘Mylo’s Groove’ opens the release with a classic filter house approach, combining choppy vocal chants that ebb and flow in and out of each other, while a solid rhythmic base, raw stab sequences and a pulsating bassline keep the groove moving from start to finish.

On the flip, ‘Vintage B’—as the title suggests—harks back to the golden era of US house, layering jazzy keys, acidic lines, brass arrangements and hypnotic vocals over a pounding 909 rhythmic base.
