Tiger Stripes debuts on Rekids with "I Heard It Through the Bassline".

Stockholm artist Tiger Stripes makes his first appearance on Matt Edwards's label, Rekids, with the two-track EP "I Heard It Through The Bassline". The EP kicks off with the title track, defined by its deeply infectious bassline, moving along with tight house grooves and classy gospel vocals. It's followed by "Everybody’s Doing It", an elegant and relaxed track that feels like an introspective journey through the city or a stroll through a dim, vibrant establishment.

Founder of the Strange Idols label, Tiger Stripes is a prolific producer, remixer, and DJ active since the early 2000s. He has collaborated with artists like Kerri Chandler and Jerome Sydenham, and has released music on major underground labels such as Hot Creations, Get Physical, and Sydenham's own Ibadan. Now, he’s moving the needle again with the EP "I Heard It Through The Bassline" on Rekids.
