Within Tiga's minimalist electronic funk and Hudson Mohawke's grandiose beats, a common thread exists; an idea Tiga describes as "hardcore romance." Recorded in Los Angeles over the past few years, these affinities flowed and transformed through various sessions, culminating in their debut album, L'Ecstasy. Turbo revisits the album with a series of dancefloor-oriented remixes, bringing together Keinemusik's Reznik, Montreal masters Priori and Patrick Holland as Jump Source, and Berghain resident Quelza.
