The Woodentops are Balearic scene veterans and peerless party-starters and now their music is back in the spotlight on this new remix EP from Hottwerk. It is their tune “A Pact” that gets four different versions here, starting with a loose and percussive house session from UK veteran Bushwhacka!. Next up, Skyscraper HiFi B, Anglo-Swedish duo Jon Dasilva and Jonas Nilsson, serve up a remix that slows the tempo to a nice downtempo track with indie vocals and then they offer a second dirtier and rawer remix, with a low-slung house groove accompanied by acid madness. Last but not least is label boss Spatial Awareness with a remix that glides on silky synths and airy drum loops, with psychedelic vocal touches.
