Billy Wooten, a vibraphonist from Indianapolis who also participated in Grant Green’s Blue Note record “Visions” and Richard Evans’ albums. The passionate performance by Wooten’s regular band, The Udung Glass, recorded live at the small Nineteens Hall club in Indianapolis in 1972 —comprising vibraphone, organ, guitar, and drums— is a miracle that should be passed on as a true legend.

When first released on CD, it became a legendary release that drove jazz-funk and rare groove fans wild with its groove, intensity, and audience energy as never before captured.

A work that should be inherited by a new generation of jazz listeners.
