The Limiñanas & Laurent Garnier - De Pelicula [Because Music]

Psychedelic garage duo The Limiñanas and French DJ/producer and techno pioneer Laurent Garnier have jointly produced "De Película." The result is neither a techno record by The Limiñanas nor a rock record by Laurent Garnier. It's an album that sounds like a walk on the wild side, like a film noir cooked up from the need to write music that tells a story and brings together all traditional guidelines into a (super) sonic trance. A heated road trip where we follow Juliette and Saul, two teenage rascals straight out of a 60s classic—think a mix between "Breathless" ("À bout de souffle") and "Wild at Heart"—traveling along the southern border with Spain, consumed by heat and cheap liquor.
